ACE - A Little About What We Do

The Art Cover Exchange (ACE) promotes art, philately, friendship and correspondence among its members. The special emphasis of the group is in the artistic presentation of postal covers for exchange.

Welcome to another new year, 2018!.  A number of ACE covers are still making their way in to my mailbox; I'm always grateful!  ACE mail making its way to members' mailboxes is the primary function of the group.  Quite a number of terrific covers arrived here over the past couple of months, something that I always enjoy seeing in my mailbox.  All kinds of covers are created by our members - some are First Day Covers (FDCs).  Since the U.S. issues all kinds of stamps each year, FDCs take on a number of varieties.  One such recent issue was celebrating the sport of ice hockey; and the stamp was a se-tenant dual issue with Canada.  The cover shown above was created using a se-tenant pair of the U.S. stamps.  I thought that it was quite a unique cover; this cover from ACE 393 was chosen to be our web site's Cover of the Month!

The Art Cover Exchange is a proud affiliate of the American Philatelic Society (APS) - Affiliate 243, as well as a chapter of the American First Day Cover Society (AFDCS) - Chapter 79
